The Plague

The Plague spreads no matter what you try.

You can run, hide, even try to face it,

But nothing will aid you in the fight

As the black oozing waves swirl around my brain,

I try to cry for help yet no one hears it.

The colorful world around me fades to a dirty gray

My friends and family try to help me see color again

But no matter how much I try, I live in the plague
