1. I have always wondered how long it takes
2. for a pixie to slowly construct a pixie stick
3. A pixie that slowly breaks away at a sugar cane
4. with a two sided axe
5. making every tiny crumb more and more unique
6. Could you imagine them?
7. Slowly chopping away at a sugar cane
8. with broken sugar on their face
9. ...and a 5 o clock shadow
10. Working and working, mining through a sugar cane
11. and slowly putting the droppings
12. about the size of their palms
13. in a long paper cylinder
14. Could you imagine these pixies
15. awakening from a long night's rest
16. and going to work on a 9-5 shift...creating the perfect pixie stick
17. I would think that a pixie stick would take
18. one...maybe two...complete working shifts to complete
19. And Willy Wonka laughs
20. because he knowingly puts these pixies to work
21. everyday for little or no pay
22. It is said that it costs 20 pieces
23. of golden rapped chocolate a month
24. to rent a house in pixie village
25. and 39 pieces to own one
26. These are atrocious conditions,
27. considering that one pixie only gets payed
28. one golden rapped chocolate every two working days
29. As Willy Wonka Bathes in his own wealth...
30. The homeless rate is becoming unmanageable in pixie village
31. And even without a home, these pixies are forced to work
32. ...forced to work on the condition that they need food
33. It is by-far the worst and most chaotic place to live
34. young pixies are dropping school
35. elder pixies are dying
36. and all for the amusement of the human race
37. Pixies are being raped, murdered, and tortured
38. for a crumb of bread
39. pixies who are tirelessly working away at sugar canes
40. Doing hard, back-breaking, sweat-jerking, manual labor for almost nothing
41. So, the next time you eat a pixie stick, keep in mind what you are supporting

Synocide

Awesome imagination and symbolism for poverty and the working class as well as child labor. At least, that's what I got out of it. Willy Wonka could be the government or "big brother". It's an insanely unique way to portray old ideas into new ones. I love this.

Thanks, I was going for that satirical type of poetry and story-telling. So you are spot on :)
