Pilot

Tue, 01/08/2019 - 14:14 -- Aspen

My dad’s a pilot cause he always flies so high with those lies of his.

Told us he’d be back home and that he’d only go away for a little bit

Guess times change and so do faces

It was all pretension and all I ever wanted was some attention

Wasn’t there for my graduation not to mention the tension

Never hit us up with a message

Didn’t follow his role guess he wanted a different act, let's face the facts.

A dad’s supposed to be there for his kids

Yet the kids are always on the phone trying to call and not fall

While he's always drinking feeling so tall.
