Pieces Of Home

The stars and moon shine above,

The calm before the storm

A soft breeze blowing across the memories of home,

Of adventures through the trees with animals all around

Memories of what was, of pieces already found

Boom! The sky screams

The calm disappears with an explosion of orange and purple

A sunrise, welcoming a new day, a new world

And a new piece added to the puzzle of life

This poem is about:
Me
My family
