Picture Perfect Disguise

Looking through the mirror
Could it be any clearer

Flaws here and there

Too many laws

Eyes full of lies

How do you hide your tears

When the years don’t clear

Breaking through the bars

Reaching for the stars

Hidden behind my picture perfect disguise

Too many hurt. Too many buried in the dirt

How do you smile

When all there’s left are piles of files

All I want is peace

What happens when I see the police

Scared of the life I made

But all I do is fade away

Hidden behind my picture perfect disguise

People left and right. I stay away because of fright

All they want to see

The life of carefree

What do you want from me

If all I have is Guaranteed

I swear the world must end

We can’t depend on a friend

How do you say goodbye

When there was no one to stand by your side

Hidden behind a picture perfect disguise

When you cry

They act as if you’re the bad guy

What happens when nightmares come true

Will you break through

Everyday is a gateway

When you crumble

Everything else will tumble

Everything that happened in the past

Will be forgotten really fast

May I advise

Don’t Hide behind a picture perfect disguise
