What if I became a philosopher?

Would it change me and open my mind?

Will it teach me more than I have learned in high school?

I long to understand the minds of many popular people

Sure I can study psychology and learn

About why some serial killers murder for fun

But I want to know about how and what they think 

Just by the words they mutter in their jail cell

Or in the court room when they're waiting upon the jury's decision.

I want to discover the meaning of life and happiness

Is that too much to ask?
