Perseverance
The arrogance to get what I want
To push through everything that gets in my way
And the difficulty that comes with it                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  All my life people told me what I could do, and what I couldn’t do
But now it’s my turn to turn around and show them
That I’m not who they think I am
It’s my turn to show them that I can do
Everything they said I couldn’t do
Because I am Perseverance                

                                                                                                                                                                               What the mind can conceive
With hard work and determination
It can achieve

                                                                                                                                                                So don’t even tell me what I can or can’t do
Because you know that,
However hard you push me or put me down
I’m going to pick myself up, and keep moving on
Hold my head high, like the sunrise
No matter how rainy it is the day before, the sun will always rise again

And look down at you
From the mountain of my success

                                                                                                                                                                   I will get what I want
Because I have the arrogance
I have pushed through all the difficulty and now
Everything you told me I couldn’t do, I’ve done
And always keep persevering
