Perfection

Perfection

Magazines, Billboards, Posters,

Show us perfection never seized

How can we live up to society’s orders?

Rushing and hoping to be accepted.

People tell us how to display ourselves in

Dress, Act, and Look

On the strings of the puppeteer,

never running from our own fear.

What happened to the beauty,

of Green, Brown, and soft Blue?

Strangled by the

Artificial, Manmade, and Imitations

Soon there will be no

Rugged, Independent, Imperfect

What will make people an individual?

Just a nuance of Grey pastel

We might as well just disappear

This lies behind despair.
