They say patience is key, but is it really?

                        I stood there alone and you just left me

                        Tell me, can I really have patience for someone who abandoned me?

                        Someone who told me that he would hold my hand until the end

                        Someone who vowed to always protect me

                        Someone who made a promise to never leave me

                        But then turned right around and left me

                        Like a leaf in the grass

                        Like someone you don’t want in your past

                        You told me this was going to last

                        But yeah, tell me again, is patience really key?
