Only a doctorate degree could change my life

Although it may take a lot of years and a lot of strife

12 to 14 years of study

Hopefully I’ll have enough money

For Duke University which is my dream school

Ill major in pathology and my accomplishments won’t be minuscule

Pathology is studying mysterious disease

And looking for new cures to help the patient’s sickness recede

Maybe one day ill cure cancer and take away some sadness

Because for a doctor, that is supposed to be the drive for our madness

Doctors are helpful and full of smarts

And helping others brings joy to my heart

My thirst for knowledge shall never cease

So being a Pathologist will give me so much peace

I just have to make it through college

By providing the hard work that is due

And I will be a beginner Pathologist

With my excitement shining through
