Pacification

Thu, 12/07/2017 - 20:01 -- Awwyss

For this Earth was not meant to be polluted,

For these skies were not meant to hold bombs and artillery,

For these roads were not meant to cover more Earth than the Earth itself.

But if you take a step back you can see;

This Earth we live on, is a treasure.

There's still hope for Peace.

These roads will take you to a land of Wanderlust.

This life will be difficult, but YOU are courageous.

For these animals were meant to be loved, not abandoned,

For our rights were meant to be lived, not rejected.

But we must remember;

Even the toughest have been through chaos and disaster.

For even if we see these injustices,

This is our Earth and our Life.

And we shall overcome.

Pacification is an attempt to create or maintain peace.

This poem is about:
Me
My community
My country
Our world
