Overdose

Tue, 07/21/2015 - 14:55 -- Monae J

By the broken glass on the floor I can tell the damage has been done.
By the strong aroma of bleach I can tell you may have nothing left.
Walking through a house that was once feel with much love now filled with nothing, but hate.
My body has went numb and unconscious.
I thought it was all a dream until I woke up and you weren't there
Looking over the balcony, I see your game broken into pieces
By the blood dripping I can tell I am not here alone.
You can tell her she doesn't have to hide anymore.
After years of working on my anger I thought I had it under control.
I thought the feeling of hurt wouldn't enter my soul.
This house has been damaged there is almost nothing left.
I figured by the time you see this you'll scream 'THAT STUPID CRAZY BITCH'
But I see your face now, you help cause this damage - this emotional damage
The damage has been done
No words left to be said.
Only actions to be done.
We have reached our crossroads.
As I gain consciousness, I see the healing process starts now.
I see I have overdosed over you.
