Ouzo

Ouzo

Cellophane envelopes full of seahorse kisses
Fill a bin on 52nd Street
They cost an arm and a leg
And are going like hotcakes
At a lumberjack convention
You can tell by the long line leaning to get it in to
Precious Prosthesis Emporium right across the street
Ilene Surefoot is the proprietress
The savvy limbless progeny
Of a polydactyl man
Greek by nature and fetish
Ilene a dalliance to the other side
Not again experienced for sanity's sake
Madness not all it's cracked up to be
Freeze Pops aren't for everyone
Flavor for an acquired palette
Ouzo his preferred
I've observed absurd before
And this is an ample sample
