Our youth is diminishing on the wrong path

The media isn’t helping it creates more storm in the after-math

The government is a necessity, but used to much in false claim

Kids debating justice, the parent always left to blame

Why is a cheeseburger 99 cents and a salad $8.99

Eating healthy nowadays, is like committing a crime

Everything’s in boxes, or covered with plastic wrap

Go out in the woods; see how well you adapt to that

Everything we do is computer assessable

Why is everything so technological?

What happened to hands on, hard work ethic?

Setting a goal, and keeping at it

We are killing our world, for new to come

Killing our environment, for a bigger income

Every bodies walking around with their nose in the air

Ever bodies to damn good to care

There’s a diagnosis for everything nowadays

Kids locked up in a house, they no longer play

Obesity rises in great concern

Yet on every corner is a big yellow sign that every kid yearns

Nothings made from scratch

Vanity, has too many families detached

Everybody finds a prejudice against somebody who’s different

It takes a proud person to give a compliment

Why does everything have to be labeled, why not go with the flow?

Experience the new, the "unknown

Why are countries fighting over a useless power?

Whoever wins, will want something new to devour

Every country on edge, looking to nuclear war

Kill everybody and everything, "how is that the cure.

Families losing loved ones to fight a lost cause

Meanwhile the ones behind the desk pointing fingers get applause

All in hopes of education, extra earnings, the fight for freedom

We all are born to free will

The ones higher in demand, create the chaos to kill

From what I see, nobody will ever be on the same page

Every country follows their own religion, which leads their life to follow "that" way

Being humane, doesn’t mean you have to be a hero

Have my back, I'll have yours, and “It’s called keeping a balanced flow

Be a part of your community

Be respectable socially

Love people for their indifference

Set your mind to be a little less ignorant

If you want to fight for something

Fight for a peace of mind, "fight for a better tomorrow

Stop finding the negative in everybody else’s sorrows

Poverty is spread throughout the world beyond belief

Let’s start by keeping it close to home, starting with our own countries

Brighten your horizon, open your heart

Book smarts is great, Common sense will get you far

Educate yourself beyond the book,

Just because its legal, doesn't always mean your not a crook

Live in hopes to be remembered for a better reason in this life time

You can’t ever take back, or ever push rewind

Life is trial and error, we are the blinded

Look within yourself to find it.

For our youth’s sake, can't we start fresh?

How can you look in the innocence eyes and ever contest?

To put our hates, our prejudice and power struggles to Rest
