Our story..

You were supposed to

Love me
I guess,
Maybe, I'm just too
Complicated
Conflicted on whether
I'm asking too much
Or too little
Expecting you to weather  storms
Of my emotions
Ever changing
I love you
I love to
Hate you
And push you away
No stay
Our best part is always
After the storm
Our love is warm
With no warning
Of the next disaster
To ruin our after
Never truly happy
Is it me or you
Oh inside its me
You don't see
But I blame and maim
Myself
Outside its you
For making it too
Easy
For me to push you away
Beg you to stay
Easy to say
I hate you I love you
You love two things
At the same time
Rhythm and rhyme
Partner and crime
You look for
A glory
Rich enough to sell your story
Knowing that can't come
Just from loving me
So you pimp three
Hoes on the
Side hustle
Your pride buckle
With stride you show niggas
Your version of man
But can one
Possibly have his cake and
Eat it too
Or will others eat it for you
While you watch
With an empty stomach
And empty wallet
Who knows
Where this winding road goes
Looks like
Airs tight
The farther along we go
Is there enough room for us both
Of course
Just not enough for both of you
so choose
Your blues
Or rhythm
Or me
Or love or hate
Can't wait
To hear your choice
To see your voice actually works
It's worth
More than gold
Our story sold
In love.
