Ordinary Night

Location

The lonely owl flies off

From its tree to the night

In search of prey.

A brown blur flits through the forest.

He hears a squeak,

Then sees a mouse scattering.

His ears perk up;

His eyes narrow.

The owl swoops and catches its snack.
