Open Your Eyes

We all wish for comfort, by any way we can receive it.

We long for it. We ADORE it.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain you say? That curtain may mean the world to him.

It is his comfort. We have no right to judge that layer of meaning. But what is intervening?

The cloth, aka our experience. Our way of life.

You see, the way I see it, there are two sides. Behind that curtain, all you see are the soles of my feet.

From where you're at, can you judge by that?

My side, the angel and devil weigh down at my shoulders. Confusion, hatred, jealousy consume my soul.

On better days, I just smile; hey, this world isn't as bad as we're told.

We each have a curtain and fear the revelation of our sincere feelings.

But I have to get out there! Be my true being....

So let down your curtain, wrap it around your shoulders, take dominance of YOU and empower the view.
