Only One Man

It is the dream, longer than the stream

It is the bridge, that reaches ridge to ridge

He is the man we turn to for aid

In our memory he will not fade.

He is the caretaker

some say, a wondermaker

He is the man in the white coat

the angel without wings who keeps you afloat.

He is this one man,

the man to see,

a doctor I want to be.
