For the ones who solicited me
the day I was born and rudely introduced to what became life.
I came into the world without a name,
Without the contaminated heart of knowing the shame,
It’s was necessary for life to reveal to me it’s game,
As a child like all others, what I craved from the vessels that brought me forward was fame,
Instead I shouldered the blame, ran from the pain,
and protected those who were treated the same
Somewhere along the way, I beloved and believed that perhaps I could turn me “the deficit” into gain,
I let my heart for a few beats be vain,
I let myself believe I was not a runaway train,
That if others saw me they would want “me” that thing the vessels would not bring themselves claim,
Only a fool believes the heart and ignores the brain,
The plan for me will not change
I came into this world alone and I will leave the same
and in that truth lies my strength, once again necessarily ingrained
I am not of this world therefore not worthy of the pain
