The One Who Kneels

I can see in your eyes everything you've gone through,

And the disaster train has had it's toll on you.

But I am here for encouragement and as your friend

I will tell you the truth that there is light in the end.

I know what you're feeling and it hurts me too.

There are tears in your eyes from all the pain you've gone through.

Its like a flood of emotion, a deep pain inside.

You just want to get mad and scream or even cry.

Yet I've heard he who kneels most is the one who stands best,

So just let God in control and He'll take care of the rest.

As your friend I am here to walk with you through this.

I know it's hard for a while but you can get through it!

I know it's not really easy but actually quite hard,

Yet God puts us through these things to test the strength of our hearts.

And though I know what you're feeling and it hurts me too,

All those tears in your eyes make perfect sense to you.

And the flood of emotion, all the pain inside

Has burst like a fountain and now you can cry.

And I've heard he who kneels most is the one who stands best.

You've let God in control and He has used the rest.
