They look at me with admiration

Only because they haven't seen the real me.

They think I'm perfect

And I don't blame them

I'm a pretty good actor.

If only they knew 

The real me is someone not everyone can see

Only I have learned to love the women behind the curtain

If that curtain were to be pulled no one would love me,

I'm certain.
