One of a Kind

Born in the night,

And clothed in black.

It is from the light

I do cringe back.

Hell is my home;

The Dark Angel my God.

This is where I come from,

A creature so odd.

Leather and chains,

Denim and pins.

Light causes me pain,

But I'll never give in.

Loud music mixed,

With quiet poetry,

I can't be fixed,

But I'm not broken, you see.

This is who I'll be.

it's no state of mind.

Look closer and you'll see,

That I'm one of a kind.
