One Day

One day I kissed the early waking sun

I smiled with the dew

I laughed with the birds

All because I was thinking of you.

On day I walked along the mountains

Hoping it would lead me to you

Yet it turned up nothing

Although I enjoyed the view.

I painted your face in the clouds

Just to see you smile

But painting isn't enough

so I'll walk another mile.

One day I searched everywhere

But you were no where I looked

I haven't checked heaven yet

But that is next on my book.

Until I find you

I'll sleep with the grass

Knowing in my heart

Our love will always last.

And now I lay down my head

But never my heart

It will always be seraching for you

For we should never be apart

One day I found you

And we walked along together

Enjoying each other

And the perfect wheather.
