One Afternoon
Rain falls in heavy drops
outside of my half open window
its droplets hang from eaves and leaves
and fall
The ground covers in mud
Sudden Gush of water runs into the creek, near my home.
The water droplets firmly cling,
to my window pane like clear glue bead.
The sun breaks through a patch of clouds and
the droplets cast faint shadows,
on the wooden blinds into my room.
like a splash of freckles.
The shadow fades away as the streaks of sun disappears,
behind the wispy clouds.
