ONCE UPON A TIME

Once upon a time I needed you.

My body and heart craved for you.

You were my definition  of perfect.

Everything in you was just intact.

Little did I know that wasn’t a fact.

Now that I know I have lost that respect.

Once upon a time time I loved you.
I felt for your fake smiles.

For you I was ready to travel miles.

Whatever you did to me you did it right.

Coz even your wrongs I saw them right.

And I did kinda freeze at your sight.

I loved you wholly with no but.

Little did I know you didn’t appreciate that.

Once upon a time I loved you.
Though I wasn’t rich.

I thought you were beyond their reach.

Those boys who called every girl a bitch.

Little did I know you were also a bitch.

Your body just like a sandwich.

One can eat given cash is present.

Once upon a time I loved you.
Now I am really broken.

Not because you are taken.

But by seeing what you have become.

Changing men like Biro pens.

Yah.

I have no right to condemn.

That is why I still act the same.

But deep down I know my silence is a crime.

Because you are sinking and am not helping.

I have no  power to.

Its beyond me.

I want to help but I can’t.

As you are sinking I can’t help but remember.

I once upon a time I loved you.
