Once Upon a Daughter

Once upon a time

Not long ago

There was a girl

Whose name was snow

She had a touch

That chilled to the bone

She wore beautiful dresses

All hand sewn

One day she bore
A blue-eyed beauty
Who knew her purpose
And her sense of duty
But Snow grew green
Because of her daughter
She grew unhinged
And considered slaughter

Ah yes, a solution

To her predicament

She considered lesser ideas

Such as imprisonment

But no, none suited

So as the moon flew

She sent a soldier

A man named Andrew

He took her to the woods

Where she kneeled to cry

For she knew

That she was there to die
He took pity on her
So he set her free
Where she ran

To forever live by the sea
