Once Upon A Crime With Ursula

Once upon a time,

I was framed for a crime.

For doing a good deed

to fill the spoiled, red-head's need.

I simply granted her wish

and she lost the tail of a fish

Then, I sent her on the ground above

to unfold the story of love.

With the handsome prince that she helped onto sand,

she danced and prance with feet on land.

Under the moonlight, they almost shared a kiss

until the boat flipped and the prince missed.

However, up where they walk,

she could not talk.

For I took her voice

and I swear it was her choice!

You see, working for free

is not under my decree.

The mermaid had to be bound

and so, she gave up her heavenly sound.

They scream that I used dark magic,

but my side of the story is quite tragic.

I was banished into the dark abyss

yet, little Ariel swims in eternal bliss.

I help these poor unfortunate souls.

With my spells, they can obtain their goals.

Before you speak, think twice.

Because after all this time, I've been quite nice.

So, sit down and let me tell you a story

of how I lost all of my glory.

Because once upon a time,

I was framed for a crime.
