Once She Realizes
She sits in her room everyday,
Making plans and hoping.
She sits in her room as the seasons start to change...
Spring to Summer,
Summer to Fall,
Fall to Winter...
On and on,
She sits in her room,
Paitently waiting.
And still blindly hoping.
She finally stands outside,
Feeling the warmth upon her skin.
Waiting.
Ever so slowly,
As the sun begins to slumber...
The cold starts climbing like an awful sickness.
The dread rise,
And the throat hurts.
Once she realizes,
That you're not coming.
