Once Again

It hits her Hard
Like falling on concrete after
slipping on an ice covered road.
Every time she tries to get up she
just keeps slipping, and always
finds herself back on the ground.
And that is when the ice melts
And her smile cracks
When the butterflies in her
stomache turn into something
evil and try to swim up her
throat but get stuck there
for a couple of moments before
they get stuck behind the solid
glass behind her eyes.
It is there where they tap
at that window until the
glass breaks and the
flood pours out of the
openings, and she is
unexplainably crying,
Once Again.
