An Old Friend
K.
Wilting like a rose
As the winter wind blows
Strong like a tree
As far as they can see.
So which one are you?
The rose, or the tree?
Which ones the act?
Have you noticed your lies are suddenly “facts”?
The games got old
Yet you think you're still bold.
The fame waved away
Yet you think your “The Fray”.
The lies are getting tedious
So let’s be serious.
Don’t think for a second that I won’t remember.
The wounds you left still remain tender.
No one will ever believe a liar
So stop throwing wood into the fire.
Remember these words as I say them slowly
Liars won’t get anywhere, and I say this surely.
