Why have you come facing sun and rain so

strong a struggle yet creating seven colors of rainbow,

piercing the barriers of clouds sacrificing ease

to my tumult and unknown seas?

After just coming you created a cyclone,

and separated the body and head of my own.

My severed head is lying on the ground by your feet,

but at the end of my path the loose end of your sari is spread.

I wait nonstop anxiously dawn to dusk if you alone

play on thunder lute in the clouds of Shrabon.

Tinkling on the roof you create melodies

on old corrugated iron with powers to please.

Oh my sweet rainbow, after rain

with struggle in sun and rain

creating seven colors, why have you come

even with so much pain?
