Old Christmas Poem
Christmas is celebrated by many people, some spend theirs at the building with the steeple. Kids lie awake at night wanting the time to go by fast, then morning comes and presents are here at last. The parents awaken with a heavy sigh, then look and notice the beautiful sunrise in the sky. They all head to the presents with an ear to ear smile, in their bare feet on the cold tile. They open the presents without holding back, some look box shaped others like sacks. That's what most people think Christmas is all about, but it's not always about what you get or don't get, no doubt. It's about the amazing birth of our Father Jesus, he is the most wonderful present who actually see's us. He grew up and risked his life for us, then was risen again by his father who we will forever trust. So I hope that this christmas won't be about the gifts and greediness, but for the gifts from our lord, Our Christ Jesus.
