Okay

What has society done to teens?

Their looks are dependent on genes,

Not by what society thinks.

Teens believe in what "they" say,

But who cares if you're white, black or gay?

Show them you are strong,

Step-up and prove them wrong.

You are beautiful in your own skin,

It should not be burnt, cut, or too thin,

You don't have to starve to impress,

Or drag a blade to feel any less.

Don't let anyone bring you down,

Your perfect in your own way,

So rise up and accept the crown,

And join the rest who love themselves.

Throw away the scale, the bullet, and the blade,

We'd love you on this Earth if you stayed,

You are worth more than what people say,

In the end I promise everything will be okay.
