A fresh baked aple pie
With lots of love baked in.
Through the air its smell does begin
To spread and share comfort to those nearby.
Ingredients mix for delightful tastiness.
The cinnamon and sugar make a sweet and spicy pair,
Fresh apples add deliciousness when baked with lots of care,
And the golden brown of the crust will cure your emptiness.

This is what I've imagined as
A little kid at play in the backyard.
My mud pie patted together all nice.
You see the resemblance to real pie it has
As it bakes in the sun 'til hard.
