Ode to Heels

Oh,    Ode to heels and the height they offer.   Ode to my four inch stilts underneath    me.    But, in my four inch stilts,    A struggle to create movement exists;    Even as they raise a giant in their       wake.     My four inches have become too    comfortable, regardless of restrained    nerves and presumably pre-mature    advancement.    With age, sophistication is a    requirement.     I'm now on a pair of six inch    contraptions, but I remember the    burning my arches suffered as I    realized I've left my frequency, thrown   my tattered, beloved four inches    below me with an unwilling,    saddened heart.  Oh,    Ode to heels and the height they    provide but -   Ode to the lost red speck of data I    cling to.
