A nurses life

Location

The life of a nurse, can be a curse

Not just band aids

Not just bloody noses

You depend on me.

We are strong when need be

We are gental at touch.

The life of a nurse, can be a curse

We are they for life and death

We are their for last breaths

Trying to save a stranger

Keeping you out of danger

Yet, the life of a nurse

Can be a blessing

We are there when you are stressing

We are there for tears of joy

To bring family we know you'll enjoy

To birth the babies, day and night

To help in need and when in fright.

So say thank you to those nurses

Who hold their bladder to get you meds

Who skip lunch, to make sure your fed

Say thank you to those nurses

Who go without seeing their babies at home

To take care of yours.

Thank you to all the nurses out there!
