Nothing

Nothing ever goes the way you want it to

Having kept this in mind, but unaccepted it

Anything denied becomes unwanted in the end

And this emptiness of desire becomes a weight of rejection.

Caring is kindness linked with potential hurt

To be selfish or polite, if driven by resentment

Greed automatically takes over your rational decision

And the control to deny feels like a placebo to your disappointment.

Numbness in the mind means numbness of the heart

Longed for your presence now longing to feel nothing

This hatred I endure is convincing in despising you

And my deprivation assures that your nothingness will be relieving.
