Not Me Without Her

She is brown eyed, brown haired

Like me, almost my twin

Till puberty hit and we split

We became two people instead of one

Yet I can't say I couldn't live without her

I could breathe, I could move, I could cry

But I don't think I would be me

She's a part of me that I need

I used to wonder who I would be

Without her by my side

And I always concluded that

I wouldn't be the same

Her laugh is my favorite tune

Her smile, my favorite picture

Her talk, my favorite lecture

Without her by my side

I wouldn't be the same

I need my best friend, my enemy, my teacher, my sister

She's my baby sister and I'm her protector

So I suppose I couldn't live,

Because I wouldn't be me

Not without my sister
