Not All Soulmates Are Romantic

The highs were high:

parties every weekend, Wednesday breakfast with Grandma, 4 hour roadtrips to the middle of nowhere

But the lows were low:

I sliced my skin into pieces to the sound of your silence, sat on the bathroom floor as you puked up Green Apple Vodka

We ripped ourselves open and called it bonding but you'd had practice at rearranging others and I never really felt at home in myself

The moment our eyes met I felt the world shift, and I know that sounds like a shitty Twilight quote. (that's because it is)

Now that everything is over I can only say:

Thank you, you were amazing
