The Northern Star

Tue, 10/18/2016 - 19:44 -- lissy17

Beyond the boundries of what you see

Is a different girl inside of me

Shes distrought shes conflicted

Yet she wears a smile as bright as the northern star

She guides those who are lost

Although she is lost herself

Bringing happiness to those around

Even though shes falling down

Day by day

Night by night

she continues this thing called her life

People come people go

Each stealing a piece of light

She grows dimmer and dimmer as time goes on

She disspears theres no light left

No one notices

No one cares

For there are plenty of stars in the night sky.
