None are Perfect

You don't have to be perfect

Like a snapshot or a movie

Where the plot is crystal clear

Because that ain't how life happens

Ain't a present all wrapped up

With a bow that is just there

Comparing the best with the worst

Only seems to help us fall

We are beautiful no matter what they say

We all have scars inside or out

None are perfect after all

Life is messy life is strange

Can get upside down confusing

None are perfect in or out

Why do others choose to shame

Can't help wondering why we are

All put down for our hearts

Comparing the best with the worst

Only seems to help us fall

We are beautiful no matter what they say

We all have scars inside or out

None are perfect after all

There's no way to be perfect

No way we can just reappear

Polished perfect like on the screen

Our flaws can't disappear

They tell us to just give up

Because we're strong we don't hear

Comparing the best with the worst

Only seems to help us fall

We are beautiful no matter what they say

We all have scars inside or out

None are perfect after all
