No More

I thought our love was true

That I was actually in love with you

But as you looked me in my eyes

All the words you spoke were lies

How can someone be so cruel

To fill my fire of love with vile fuel

All you wanted from me was lust

Not caring if my heart crumbled to dust

I couldn't see past your game

Thinking my Prince Charming had finally came

You were my hero

Who brought my worries down to zero

With you I shared my first kiss

You were the only one my heart would miss

You caused me so much pain

I hid my tears in the falling rain

I couldn't escape your hold

That was never warm but cold

You are heartless creature in human skin

Not a blessing from heaven but a sin

Not an angel but a vampire

Craving not blood only desire

I will never again fall for your tricks

Or be the rotten apple that you pick

I am a golden apple at the top of the tree

Waiting for a man brave enough to pick me
