Your mind shifts to the dimension,
And you begin to feel the transition,
From reality to fiction,
It is indeed your affliction.

Between the lovely dreams you make,
It is easy to spot the evil fake,
The one that have you scream and shake..
Is it true that I made you wake?

It is nothing but a game.
I am the only one to blame.
So you can't be put to shame,
'Cause you don't even know my name.

I am your worst fear.
So please, listen hear.
If you don't want to tear,
Just stay awake for a year.

My name is nightmare.
So sleep.. if you dare.
I will just give you a scare..
And you'll be ripping out your hair.
