The Night is Young!

Everyone dressed in finery,

Feeling carefree, so blind, with glee!

Why shall we do when we can just be?

We shall dance and laugh and play, you see.

Why settle for less when you can have more?

Hold your heart out for blessed galore!

Give me a chance! Let’s dance and let’s dance!

Give into the trance of blessed romance!

There's always more than meets the eye;

If you but search, you shall find.

But amid the fervor, who has time for debris?

The night is young! It’s time to be free!

O, why did you lose your gallantry?

Why shall we say what’s best left unsaid?

Let us dance and dance ‘till we’re all dead instead!

What fills us with dread can remain far ahead!
