Night
Location
She needs the darkness,
The comfort
Some midnight assurance
A mentoring ammunition
Preparing her for the daylight’s work.
The strands of sunshine,
Fill the gaps of clouds
Its strands remind her of the hardships,
That force their way into an accumulated darkness.
An accumulated darkness,
She could forever be accustomed to.
The time before dawn,
Revives the ignition
With silence, devastation and madness.
Into the depths of her rug she interwines
And a scream burns her throat,
Lifts her eyes
Hands crumble after gripping on the past
A disappointment she can never get by
A new disappointment every night
And to address all these disappointments is to empty her mind
Her skin is the only foreign entity in the room
But the absence of light is the absence of judgement.
Sometimes she wishes there were superstitions to follow,
A ruling, a guidance, a meaning behind the struggle
The sun will rise in 5 hours,
In an expected East
So her heavy eyelids crash against her burgundy pillows
And she lets the demons sleep.
She needs the darkness,
The comfort
Some midnight assurance
A mentoring ammunition
Preparing her for the daylight’s work.
