Never Have I Ever

Never Have I Ever seen a swan swim peacefully

Never Have I Ever swam in an ocean that could consume me

Never Have I Ever seen the clouds frown upon me

Never Have I Ever waited for nature to accept my apology

Never Have I Ever drowned in a bed of lies

Never Have I Ever been perfect enough to not even try

Never Have I Ever seen death across my eyes

Never Have I Ever cried so much from the loss in the skies

Never Have I Ever crossed a river on a thin line

Never Have I Ever had enough confidence to walk with pride

Never Have I Ever smelled the sweet scent of roses in a garden

Never Have I Ever pierced the enemy with a sword, foreign

Never Have I Ever seen a moon go into eclipse

Never Have I Ever spread I love you on paper like this

Never Have I Ever took advantage of the abundance of nature

Never Have I Ever been ungrateful or had things in my favor

Never Have I Ever felt strong winds lift me off my feet

Never Have I Ever found the strength to overcome defeat

Never Have I Ever recognized the intricate patterns in disguise

Never Have I Ever recognized pure beauty in my eyes

Never Have I Ever stared so hard into a black void

Never Have I Ever crawled out to realize what was destroyed

Never Have I Ever climbed mountains of dessert or snow

Never Have I Ever doubted myself in completing the unknown

Never Have I Ever watched snow fall to cloud my mind

Never Have I Ever met someone to call mine
