The Negro Sings The Blues

Mon, 04/11/2016 - 10:31 -- Zizi16

Oh what blues they play.
Coming from a black's soul.
The Black Experience and Despair all mixed in one.
The perfect way to sing the blues.
With their mouths crying out and their souls flying free they blow the audience away.
Only the white audience doesn't see real pain.
They see it only as an act and never the cold hard facts. Their ignorance carries them away.
And they choose not to see what the Black Experience is about.
The pain and suffering we go through everyday. They couldn't last one day.
Their whiteness will not allow them to. When a negro sings the blues.
