Natural Order

Let me go

You're smothering me

I can't breathe

I'm unchained

Yet I'm not moving freely

Stop holding onto me

Let me go

You treat me with mistreatment

You're concerned, controlling, fearful

Of letting me touch the fire I was born to wield

You want to fly

But you hold my wings

The pet and owner on the same leash

Why this duality?

Let me go

Stop clothing me with ego

I want to sing

I want to dance

I want to live

I want to be

They don't judge me

You do

You were born as me

When was this negative twin born?

You're the self

Holding yourself

Holding the leash

Holding your wings

Just choose

You want to believe In your ego

Let me know

I'll happily live through the heart

To leave you to live through the wrong part

Let me go

Let me fly or give me death
