My True Identity

Before the child of two loving parents,

I am the child and heir of the Most High God.

Before an African-American young male with flaws,

I am a beautiful creation made in God's image.

Before a hard-working medical student,

I am a Spirit-led disciple of the Word.

Before serving patients as a future doctor,

I serve in God's Army as His faithful soldier.

Before my destiny to be a physician for the community,

I have a destiny to become a pillar of God's kingdom.

Before a proud citizen of America and Nigeria,

I am a citizen of the heavenly Kingdom of God.

Before an inhabitant of this world I live in,

I identify as a temporary ambassador for my heavenly home.
