My Tart Heart

Location

“More than aromatic peaches that are ripe for the picking,

I prize you, my green apple...”

As a person who fervently enjoys your tasty tartness,

As a person who takes pride in your glossy shine and sweet essence,

As a person who gently caresses your delicate outer,

I cannot bring myself to withdrawal from you.

As my fingers graze around your frame,

As my eyes regard your luscious malachite hue,

As my tongue witnesses your zest,

I can never leave you.

Oh! The melodious sound of your skin being breached by my teeth,

Mixed in with your juices overflowing,

How can I part with you?!

Yet, I must forbid your presence, for you would bring me tears.

With these wires of steel along my smile,

I can no longer enjoy you like you were intended.

I must have you in soupçon amounts or not at all,

For your acidity is too much for my metal mouth.

Oh how this saddens me.
